Participating in Project Green Fleet is designed to be as easy as possible for heavy-duty and other diesel fleets. Here’s how it works:
Fleet Review & Equipment Selection
-
Select the equipment you are interested in having installed on your fleet and contact us
-
Project Green Fleet staff gathers basic information about your fleet
-
Project Green Fleet provides your fleet information to one of our experienced equipment vendors
-
Equipment vendors analyze the fleet and determine what equipment is appropriate for your vehicles
-
Review and sign the operating agreement and return to Project Green Fleet
Equipment Orders and Installation
-
Project Green Fleet and the equipment vendor work with you to develop an installation plan
-
Installation can be done by trained installers, or your staff can be trained to complete installations
-
Equipment order is placed and will arrive in 1-6 weeks depending on equipment selected
Emission Reduction and Recognition
-
Project Green Fleet pays for installation, installation training (if applicable) and pollution control equipment once installations are complete
-
Emission reductions are calculated for your fleet and provided to you for your records
-
Project Green Fleet can work with you to spread the word through press releases, events or presentations.
