
School buses, dump trucks, waste haulers, and other diesel vehicles operate all around us, transporting children to and from school, constructing buildings, and transporting goods. While diesel vehicles are integral to Minnesota’s economy, they contribute more than 50% of all traffic-related air pollution in the state, and can be harmful to human health. Project Green Fleet is an effort of Environmental Initiative to reduce emissions from school buses and other diesel vehicles.
