Project Green Fleet is a collaborative effort between businesses, government and non-profits to improve air quality and public health by reducing emissions from diesel vehicles.

School buses, dump trucks, waste haulers, and other diesel vehicles operate all around us, transporting children to and from school, constructing buildings, and transporting goods. While diesel vehicles are integral to Minnesota’s economy, they contribute more than 50% of all traffic-related air pollution in the state, and can be harmful to human health. Project Green Fleet is an effort of Environmental Initiative to reduce emissions from school buses and other diesel vehicles. Project Green Fleet's work has led to an annual reduction of 23.5 tons of particulate matter, the equivalent of removing 350,000 cars from the road each year. Read More »
